I had a small issue with my Literati order, so I reached out to support not expecting a quick reply. But they got back to me faster than I thought and handled everything without making it complicated. I don’t know, I could just tell quickly that they actually cared about fixing it. Really appreciated how easy the whole thing was.

I’ve been using Literati for a little while now, and so far the account side of things has been easy to deal with. I was able to log in, update my address, and change my payment info without too much hassle.

I also appreciated that pausing or making changes wasn’t buried somewhere impossible to find, which is something I’m always a little unsure about with subscription services.

I’m giving it 4 stars because I do think a few of the settings could maybe be clearer upfront. But overall, my experience has been good, and I don’t really have any major complaints.

After going through a few stories, I started noticing a pattern: the writing feels carefully chosen rather than just thrown together. The authors all seem thoughtful, and the selections have a nice, consistent quality to them.

I’ve placed a few orders with Literati and, the billing has been right every single time. No random charges, no shady double billing, and the receipts actually match what I expected. It’s sad that this even feels worth mentioning, but so many companies mess this up and then make it your problem. With Literati, I haven’t had to chase anyone down or obsessively check my card, which I really appreciate

We got our box and there were no duplicate books this time, which was such a relief. I was half expecting at least one repeat because, you know how it goes, but nope, yay

We’ve actually really liked the book selections from Literati, and my kid was genuinely excited to open the box when it showed up. The website was easy to use, and everything arrived in good condition, so that part was great...
The frustrating part is the return shipping. If you only end up keeping a book or two, the cost starts to feel like it’s not really worth it. I’d probably use it more often if sending books back was cheaper, because the idea is good, just... the returns make me hesitate.

I found literati.com very straightforward to use. The pages loaded quickly on my end, and I didn’t have to waste time clicking all over the place just to find book details or manage my account.

The checkout process was smooth as well, which I definitely appreciate. I did have to look twice for one setting, but overall the site is clean, organized, and not confusing. Solid experience.

The books showed up packed really neatly and looked cute when I opened the box. There was a small dent on the outside, which had me side-eyeing the delivery process a little, like what exactly happened to this box before it got to me? But somehow nothing inside was damaged, so maybe the packaging people know something we don’t. Overall, really nice presentation, just not absolutely perfect.

Literati has been okay for us, but the book picks don’t always line up with what my kid actually likes. My sister even looked through one of the boxes with me and we both thought a couple of the choices felt kind of random. That said, some of the books have been really good, so it’s not a bad service overall. I just wish the recommendations were a little more on target

Overall, it was kind of a mixed bag for us. A few of the books were great and my 8-year-old actually enjoyed them, but others felt like they were aimed at a younger kid. I can see how it might work well depending on your child’s reading level or interests, but for us, I wish the age range was a little more consistent from box to box.

I was a little worried the books might show up with bent corners or messed-up pages, and I really hate feeling like I wasted money on something that should’ve been new. Thankfully, they arrived in great shape, clean pages, no damage, and no bent corners. Super happy with them.

I just went through the return policy recently, so it’s fresh in my mind, and it was easier to follow than I expected. It wasn’t hidden in tiny confusing text, which I appreciated. I did have to poke around for one specific detail, but once I found it, everything made sense and I knew what to do. Giving it 4 stars.

We’ve been using literati for a little while now, and it’s been solid. I like that the books actually line up with what my kid is into at the moment, like animals, planets, space stuff, all of that, instead of just feeling like a random stack someone grabbed.
Not every book has been a winner, but most of them get opened right away, which says a lot in our house. It also seems like the recommendations get better the more you use it, or maybe we’re just getting better at narrowing things down, because... yeah, it feels more personal now.

I’m giving it 4 stars mostly because it can get a bit expensive if you keep several books. But overall, it’s been a really nice way to find new books without me having to spend forever searching

Some releases seem to show up later than expected. It’s not a huge deal, but I do wish the selection updated a bit faster.
